This technique can take anywhere from eight hours to three days to complete an entire bald man’s head."

 

“I can do this in 2 hours,” Hurley says. "The secret is in the tools. My needles are different, they are similar to medical grade” Hurley explains. In this case, the small, more precise needles ensure safety and increase quality.

Tattoo grade ink injected with tattoo needles will fade from black to blue over the years. “Mine will not.” says Hurley. To do the process correctly, ink must be injected just beneath the surface of the skin with a fine cosmetic needle.
