Color Me Today Debuts New Cosmetic Hair Loss Treatment in US

With recently developed hair replacement technology, Color Me Today is set to deliver a faster, safer and longer-lasting solution for hair loss.

What separates me from the few people who are doing this is a different machine. Other companies use a single needle to make the 1000s of dots necessary for hair follicle simulation.

Washington, DC (PRWEB) April 04, 2014

After running her own hair replacement center for 18 years, Color Me Today owner Susan Hurley is now a cosmetic industry veteran. She recently applied her hair loss know-how toward finding a more streamlined approach to natural looking scalp pigmentation.

A new method in the US, her cutting edge technique incorporates a machine that will reduce the time it takes to perform hair follicle simulation. With the introduction of her machine, she also succeeded in making the process safer and more natural looking, even years later.

Hair tattooing, or scalp pigmentation, falls right in line with Hurley’s professional motto, “Age is an Illusion and Youth is Everlasting.” The process is designed to create a seamless impression of scalp stubble for men and higher hair density for women who struggle with thinning hair or alopecia.

The current industry process for hair tattooing is slow and tedious. “What separates me from the few people who are doing this is a different machine,” Hurley says. "Other companies use a single needle to make the 1000s of dots necessary for hair follicle simulation. This technique can take anywhere from eight hours to three days to complete an entire bald man’s head."

“I can do this in 2 hours,” Hurley says. "The secret is in the tools. My needles are different, they are similar to medical grade” Hurley explains. In this case, the small, more precise needles ensure safety and increase quality.

Tattoo grade ink injected with tattoo needles will fade from black to blue over the years. “Mine will not.” says Hurley. To do the process correctly, ink must be injected just beneath the surface of the skin with a fine cosmetic needle.

Clients in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia can expect Hurley to unveil her new scalp pigmentation machine in the very near future. “Who needs a hair transplant when you can just have it tattooed on?” she asks.
